Purple Jade Circle Pendant

Turkish purple jade set in a simple and elegant sterling silver pendant.

I bought this stone many years ago at a rock and mineral show in southern NSW, and have been using it regularly in my mosaic designs ever since. I was thinking it was long overdue setting some of it in a pendant of its own. This variety of jade is found in only one place in the world, around the city of Bursa, Turkey, and I honestly haven't seen much of it in markets in Australia in a long time.

This piece is backless, allowing both sides of the pendant to be seen. No matter how this rests on your body, the stone will be viewable.

The pendant is 26mm across, and 3mm deep.

This purchase comes with a 45cm sterling silver chain. Other varieties of chain are available on request.
